Just like Serie T, the Tzero comes with five coats of high-gloss lacquer, NextGen Class-D amps, a high-level input, and a separate .1/LFE with its own volume (double-duty sub!). The MKIII uses a new aluminum-cone driver and this 6.5" unit puts out REL's legendary textured, articulate, fast, deep bass. Real-life bass. Though Tzero MKIII is REL's entry level, that doesn't mean it can't punch far above its weight class. 100 high-current watts from a NextGen Class D amp means it holds its head high and is capable of delivering many years of satisfying performance. We feature the same high-quality input filters, crossovers and limiters as our larger models. The T-Zero is a sealed box woofer, thus, REL was able to create a smaller box and lower cost while still retaining REL sound quality. Like other T-Series woofers, the T-Zero uses a custom-made woofer, a REL designed 6.5" Ultra-Long Throw, mated to a wicked fast Class D amplifier delivering a potent and ultra-green 100 Watts. The REL T-Zero, the baby of the company's subwoofer range, measures way less than a cubic foot and weighs just 6.8kg, but packs a 16.5cm down-firing long-throw driver powered by a 100W class D amp - the first time such and amp has been used in a REL sub. I followed Rel's set-up recommendations and used speaker-level connection (Speakon) and corner placement. 1/3 octave test tones (CD) and SPL meter helped dial everything in.. jl1ny OP. Details. Frequency Response (Hz) Rated 5 out of 5 by AlexG from Easy setup I bought the REL T Zero to improve base response while listening in 2.1 as well as 5.1 modes with my Arcam Solo Movie, my Monitor Audio sub did not work in 2.1 mode. Following the Manual Video "The Little Sub That Could" The Tzero MKIII powered subwoofer is every bit a true REL. It's just smaller. It enriches even modest systems with power and natural bass by bringing the quality and full REL connectivity suite along with an all-new aluminum cone that provides much greater stiffness to the driver. The Rel T/Zero is the best upgrade to my stereo system ever. For nearfield listening with monitor bookshelf type speakers it adds a sense of the depth, width and space of the original recording venue. I use the Rel with some Snell original K speakers that above 70 hz which are very tight with wonderful midrange and midbass bloom. Tzero MKIII is every bit a true REL, just smaller. Options are In Stock. As low as £449.00. The T-Zero is the baby of the T-Series, and baby is an apt term because as far as subs go, this thing is tiny. At 216 x 241 x 260 mm (W x H x D) including the feet, the T-Zero doesn't exactly strike one as the kind of unit you'd use to get down low, but it certainly impresses from a looks perspective. The gloss surface is gorgeous! Rel Acoustics T/Zero MKIII Subwoofer, 6.5 Inch Down-Firing Driver, High Gloss Black 27. $498.00 $ 498. 00.
